To Kill a Mockingbird – For all intents and purposes, Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch is the man that everyone sort of wishes was their father, if they happen to be from Georgia. Someone who knew right from wrong, and the moral compass to a whole lot of people, Atticus Finch is one of those great characters. Considering what an incredible book this was, it is truly refreshing to see that it managed to make it once it hit the silver screen. Perpetually getting aired in different contexts on TCM, so you should be able to find it on satellite TV in seconds.
